Pyramid Napkin Folding is quite attractive yet simple fold to make. Stiff cloth and starch will help the fold stand on the dinner table firmly.
As always, as a first step, place the square napkin fold face down on the table.
Fold the cloth diagonally; hold the top right corner and pull it over to lie on top of the lower left corner to form a triangle fold.
Turn to the right the triangle fold by an angle that makes the open ends of the fold to face away from you.
Fold the right half of the fold and make the right flap to align along the center line of the napkin.
Repeat the previous folding with the left part of the fold to form a diamond shaped fold. The left and right flaps meet along the diagonal of the fold.
Turn the fold over to the other side keeping the loose ends away from you.
Fold the diamond fold along the diagonal i.e., make the top half of the fold to lie on the bottom half, forming a triangle. Little bit of ironing will help stiffen things.
Flip the napkin folding (important) and then pull the right and left corners of the triangle shape towards each other. When the left and right corners are pulled inside to move closer to each other, the pyramid fold is complete.
The pyramid napkin fold looks beautiful on table and sets the stage for a lively dinner/lunch for your guests.
